Week 5 | Atmosphere
This week I've been working on reworking the atmosphere in sequence 2 shot 6. I got notes from Kiersten and she suggested to catch the light rays from the doorway light and then possibly create a new light that acts as the overall atmosphere. Therefore, I used a spotlight on the door and increase the intensity and kept the cone angle more focused to match the door's light, and then I had a larger light over the character and the car. Here is the atmosphere layer.
Here is the test render and comp of the atmosphere in the shot... We liked the more smooth fog rather than the "noisy" fog. Matching the black and white points in the scene will be done in comp.
I did get notes on putting more light towards the car and the camera so that it looks like it still exists in the same world. I will be doing that in my next pass and testing that out.
