Unfortunately due to render farm and connection issues I have not been able to get this shot on the farm for testing over the past weekend. I have been in contact with my leads about setting up the ROPs for the FX and getting the lighting translated to the shot. I did work on creating the AOVs and light groups for the shot and my explosion light so that it can get manipulated in comp. In the meantime, I did a playblast of the animation of my lighting for shot 31.
I got to render a test of shot 31 on the farm to check if my light groups were working. Thankfully they are and can be manipulated in Nuke to animate with the timing of the explosion FX that should be rendered separately. I did, however get some of the ROPs set up in this shot, but I am awaiting Kiersten and Kush's guidance to help me finish setting up for all the FX.
